Scenes from the 2013 Covered Dish Supper

I want to thank all those who helped with the Covered Dish.

Bonnie Medler, Eileen and Larry Meyers, Stevie Meyers, Ellen Noonan, Mary and Bob Bohner,

 Arlene Hrenkevich, Jeff Walkenhorst, Ann and Marty Hopwood , and  Audrey Beatty  were a great

help with the set up.

Thank you Judy for the electric for the coffee pot!

Bob and Arlene kindly disposed of the garbage, and Arlene got the ice.
Everyone there helped with the clean up and stacking of chairs and tables.

Thanks to Lily Miller, Maura Seitz Kane and Faith Hrinkevich for doing the 50 50 drawing.
Declan and Seamus Miller delivered the salads to the tables.

Steve Meyers was the winner of $135.00

The weather was good and the food delicious! It was a lovely evening in a very special community.

Some of the choices...Sweet and Sour Chicken, chicken wings, chicken legs and various other chicken dishes.  Cucumber Salad, Jicama Salad, Potato Salad, Sausage and Peppers, Lasagne, Potato Salad etc . There was Chili and New England Clam Chowder for all and Spinach, Feta Salad for each table.



 Cupcakes, Brownies, Fruit Salad and a Blueberry whipped Cream cake to wish Audrey Beatty a happy 39th Birthday!  :)  Coffee and Tea .

Sodas and juices as well as ice was provided, and people brought their own alcoholic beverage.

Congratulations to Dorian and Jim on their first baby!

 Thanks to Michael and Stacey for use of the property and their help!

Also, thanks to Mike, Sr. for carting over 28  chairs and 9 tables and equipment.  This helped keep our rental cost down.

The cost to the NSBC for the party was ZERO as the seat donation and 50 50 covered the expenses.

Hope you had a good time, and sorry you missed it if you couldn't be there!

2015 is fast approaching and that will mark the NSBC's 100th Anniversary!
