For as long as I can remember, and that only dates back to 1975, the NSBC has held a great party on the beach. Each year a colony resident would volunteer to chair the event.
There was one year it didn't happen, all these events take work, and one year, no one stepped up. That was a shocker! :)
This year, Arlene agreed to chair, and there were many helpers.
Mary & Bob Bohner, Bobby Bohner, Jeff Walkenhorst, Craig Hrinkevich, Mary Hrinkevich, Kathleen Miller, Bonnie Medler, Jamie Navan , (Chef) Eddie Garland, Cindy & Guido, Eric & Virginia, Edward Marshall (tenant), Matt Joyce and many others who stopped by to help before, during and after. Thank you for your help, or donation of the use of your equipment!
Thank you to all those who donated a side dish to go along with the hot dogs. No one left hungry!
It is always a great way to catch up with everyone we have known for so many years. Fun to see the kids and gkids enjoying this very special place.
The winner of the 50/50 drawing received 165.00 I think it was Christine Medler Long, but not sure!
We missed the Beatty's, get well wishes to Paul!
